When you ask a question

Your question and up to six recent conversation messages are sent to Grace Along’s server and OpenAI to generate an answer. We request that OpenAI not store the response using the API’s storage option. This does not override the provider’s abuse-monitoring or legal retention policies.

What stays on your device

Saved reflections and your colour-theme preference use your browser’s local storage. We do not sync them to an account. Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to read saved reflections. Remove individual reflections in Saved, or clear this site’s browser data.

Visitor analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits to our published pages. It reports aggregate traffic, referring sites, approximate location, and browser and device information. Vercel describes this service as using a request-derived hash rather than third-party cookies, with visitor sessions discarded after 24 hours.

We remove query strings and fragments from page URLs before analytics collection and exclude unpublished paths. We do not send questions, answers, conversation history, saved reflections, or question topics as analytics event data. There are no advertising pixels or session recordings.

Server and hosting data

Grace Along does not intentionally log your questions or answers. Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process request metadata such as IP addresses and timestamps for delivery, security, and operational logs.

Keep sensitive details out

You can ask a meaningful question without including names, addresses, or other identifying details. You choose what to share and what to save.
